Description
Kochiyama was deeply affected by the detention and death of her father, a fish merchant in San Pedro, California named Seiichi Nakahara. He was falsely accused of being a spy on the day of the Pearl Harbor attack and died one month later. This oral history was recorded in 1976 by the Community Documentation Workshop.
